Summary
In a certain Fragment, on October 6th, 2018, the wedding of Tomoya Chiba and Nana Nanase is interrupted mysteriously. No footage of the incident in question remains, and the aftermath is a missing Nana. Eyewitnesses say that Tomoya was killed, but no trace of him is left behind at the scene of the supposed crime. Futa and Shizue Amanoma, special agents of the MEA, are dispatched to capture the missing wife on suspicion of her husband's death, in what quickly exacerbates into a cross-country chase. At the same time, Lumina Rikujo and Mariha Monzen, two high school students, find themselves heading south as well to try and find the truth behind their missing underclassman, Binato Sotobara...
