A forty-five year old Bertram Wooster is most definitely enjoying the grey hair that was beginning to take over Jeeves’ scalp and is more than miffed when Jeeves suggests dyeing it back to entirely black.

“You really are my keeper, old thing- you do everything for me! At the very least, I can stock you with reading material. I know you are an enemy to all other joys, or what have you.”
“Not all other joys, sir,” I said, offering him a small smile.
His eyes twinkled like the golden gilt on the books. “Very good, Jeeves.”

Summary
All these grand old country houses have the same rummy problem, and said problem is that there’s so many dashed people around it can be bally difficult to get a fellow alone. Especially when said fellow is your exceptionally handsome valet who you’ve been pining over for absolute ages. And even more especially when you and said valet have only just realized your affections are mutual.

"What precisely does this... beverage entail, sir?"
"Gin, crushed blackberries, and a healthy dollop of champagne. That's what gives it the sparkle, see?"
Jeeves looked as though he'd swallowed an irritable hornet. "Sir, the adulteration of champagne in such a manner is most inappropriate. Furthermore, if I were to open a bottle now, you would then need to consume the remainder of its contents or else the rest would be wasted."
"Then I shall have to do just that!" I proclaimed. After all, I had nowhere to go for the remainder of the afternoon, and my Aunt Agatha would be joining me for dinner. Getting squiffy sounded like a pleasant way to pass the time until my inevitable ritual disembowling after the soup course.
Jeeves suppressed a sigh. "Yes, sir."

“Well this is to say, I believe that one could avoid a goodish amount of trouble if one didn’t have to go and get married to some blithering filly and whatnot just to have a child, or such. I mean, imagine it, Jeeves!” I blundered cheerfully on. “You and I, producing a little battalion of braniacs—junior Jeeveses with massive craniums and an innate taste for fish. No need for a Mrs. Jeeves. No interruption of your duties. Just the best bits of both of us passed down to a new generation.”

Jeeves and I are ten candles apart on the birthday cake, but my man’s natal festivities come two months before mine, providing a window of an eleven year’s difference instead. So it came to pass that when my man turned the big four-oh, I was still a spritely twenty-nine.

"You really must listen to me carefully! None of your carrying off, thinking you’re doing what’s best.”
“I would not dream of it, sir.”
“Because this is treacherous terrain, my dear man.” I stepped over a teddy-bear holding a fluffy heart, and put a finger to his rather firm chest. “One wrong move and I could be married to Bobbie Wickham before the Ides even put March in the datebook.”
“I understand, sir.”
