Summary
His right eye cracked open first, groaning at the sunlight pouring through the bare window. The left followed, pulling a figure into focus – a woman standing at his bedside, haloed in gold like the sun itself had chosen her. An incandescent spotlight.
Dark hair spilling loose, long and wavy. Fine-boned features with a hint of elfin, like she belonged half to this world and half to a storybook. A bowed mouth shaped like it had secrets worth keeping, and wide doe eyes men braver than him might gladly fight and die for.
“Mister Jane?”
Awfully formal even for a one night stand.
“Did we… sleep together?”
“What? No!” Her indignation hitched sharp, umbrage written plain enough that even through the fog in his head, he felt the sting.OR the one where Jane needs a bodyguard.

If he leaned any closer, his mouth would have shaved her throat. Instead, he hovered there, damp heat dappling her skin, sending tiny goosebumps racing over it. “I’ve always known it.”
“Wh–what are you saying?” The words came out viscous, her body constricting around them like jawbreakers stuck in her windpipe.
“You deserve more than I can offer you.” His nose grazed the column of her neck, the faint scrape of contact making her thrum. He inhaled – deep and decisive – and the sound of it alone spilled embers into her veins. “But here and now, I want to do all the things you’ve dreamt about.”or the smutty 'one shot' that starts with a bet and a Halloween party

She craved that cerebral connection – the mind play and the feelings it stirred. The brain, after all, was the most powerful instrument in any sexual gratification. It was in the words – their tone, their cadence – the orders, the reprimands, and the sheer audacity of him to say them aloud. She would never allow anyone else to speak to her that way, to have such bare, unfiltered access to her mind, her body, and her heart.

Summary
The simple truth of it was that Jane was scared. It was an unusual and wholly unwelcome feeling, one that Jane was unaccustomed to. He knew that Lisbon expected sex, that she was waiting for it. The idea that she might have certain expectations of him was frightening. He was out of practice, out of his comfort zone, and overcome by the depth of his own desire for her.
The sure-footed, arrogant Jane that she'd known for the last fourteen years had no standing here. He felt embarrassingly like a teenage boy around her now. Poised on a hair trigger, unable to gather his composure.

“What the hell were you thinking, you can’t just kidnap me!”
“It’s not…”
“You took me out of the hospital, brought me here — wherever the hell here is — and made sure I didn't have my phone. This is the literal definition of kidnapping,” she seethes at him.
He doesn't offer her a rebuttal or any further information so she takes it upon herself to stand, walking quickly to the door of the cabin, to try and make some sense of what’s going on. She steps outside into darkness as Jane follows close behind her without saying a word.
“Where the hell are we?” she demands, looking around wildly, taking in the lack of streetlights, or signs of anyone or anything else nearby.
“I can’t tell you that,” he says bluntly.
