The year before them is looking impossibly bright--at least it would be, if it weren't for the accidents that keep happening during rehearsals.

The bottom of reality falls out.
Freddie slams his hand down on the radio, silencing it. It is 6:01pm, on Tuesday the 26th of August, 1975.
“All a bit fucking cliché, isn’t it dears?”

Summary
Despite the extra teeth and gumption, Freddie is a perfectly normal boy. He’s healthy, curious, and like everyone who reaches the age of twelve, has two soul-marks denoting his best friend and his soulmate. His marks, much like himself, are something he wants to thrust under stage lights, and also pull inward like an inhaled breath at the end of a long song phrase.
TLDR: Freddie's got a romantic and platonic soulmark in Mary and Roger. He knows which is which. Obviously.
Now featuring more green hair, drunk drumming, and the ineffable lovlieness of Freddie and Dominique's friendship.
