Harlow had one job, and one job only, when he woke up inside a fantasy-romance novel: pretend to be the evil witch Madame Dorothea and keep the Male Lead hostage for a few years, then let him escape.
Sure, it got a little weird when the Male Lead refused to actually leave, but the plot should have wrapped up by now. Job over!
(But if the novel was finished, why the hell was the Male Lead showing up now?)

The summer after 5th year Lily Evans is on the warpath after the disastrous end of her friendship with Se-Snape.
