Summary
“Jesus Christ! Are you naked right now?”
Buck’s face rapidly appears on the screen again, looking sheepish. “Yeah, sorry about that, I forgot.”
“You forgot?” Eddie asks, bewildered. Not only can he say he’s never been unaware of his own nakedness, but more importantly, they’ve been face-timing for at least ten minutes now, before Buck’s phone had slipped and Eddie had gotten, well—an eyeful. Eddie can’t wrap his head around it, that Buck’s been talking to him like normal, all while his dick’s been out? “You—you called me.”

Summary
When Buck, a Paralympic sprinter, agrees to go on Dancing With the Stars, he wonders if he's just made the worst decision of his life. But his love life is dead, his social life even more dead, and he doesn't know what to do with his life in the aftermath of the Paralympics, so why not jump headfirst into this opportunity?
Eddie has been a professional dancer on the show for years, but after a recent divorce and a disappointing showmance, he's fallen out of love with his job, with dancing, with himself. He has no hope for the next season, until he meets one Buck Buckley.
The pair feel an instant connection, but will it be enough to see them through the trials and tribulations of the next eleven weeks?

Summary
"I can't believe you went for boba without me and you liked it." Buck fakes a faint and falls back into Eddie's shoulder playfully. Eddie smacks at him and grabs him by the waist to hoist him fully upright. May watches the way his hands linger for a moment, and then as if sensing her eyes, he pulls back and slaps them against his waist.
"Are you alright?" Buck looks at Eddie with concern.
May watches Eddie's face panic, and being the wonderful human she is, she falls on the sword instead, "I'm having a gay crisis."
Or: When May's sexuality crisis hits a little too close to home for Eddie the two of them join forces to create May-and-Eddie-Mondays as they navigate their queer identities.

Summary
“Are you finally proposing?” Buck asks, and the air rushes out of Eddie like he’s been punched in the gut, a swift burst.
Hearing it from Buck makes it real, solidified, no longer a shapeless fantasy in his head.
"Proposing what?”
“Marriage, genius.” Buck snorts. “Duh.”
Buck peels Eddie's pomegranates, carves out the brown spots from his apples, eats the ugly, discolored fruit. Eddie wants to propose, spirals, and crashes a car about it.

Summary
Through his cracked-open window, he can hear traffic in the distance. The sound is clearer at night. It's temperature inversion—he learned that long enough ago that he doesn't remember who told him, but if it wasn't a teacher it was probably Buck. At night, the ground cools, chilling the air near the surface, refracting sounds so they travel farther. It's not an echo, but it's something like it.
In his room, in the warm yellow light, his mattress shifts as someone sits down, and Chris thinks about echoes.
