Summary

However, there is so much history, literal decades, between the Secretary of State and the Patriarch of Venice. Animal-like hatred turned to respect and to something more - Aldo finds himself telling the full, true story for the first time ever. How could he live with himself now? How can he look his friends in the eye?
A story of how mistakes can lead to bigger mistakes, but once you make it out of hell, you can only go up.
