    Summary

It's so cold and tight and hellishly suffocating, Mydei's so close to breaking he could cry. He's an alpha, born to dominate others, and yet he' s chosen to let his dear Phainon lock away his desire and use him however he wants.

Unfortunately, he didn't account for his rut, and how much more painful this arrangement becomes when he's swollen and drunk on his own hormones.

    Summary

And Mydeimos was possessive. Phainon was his.
His rival. His equal. His friend. His, his, his, his, his. He threw that word around so generously, as if he truly did not understand its weight. And perhaps, he did not. Perhaps nobody but Phainon ever would, for Phainon was the one cursed to lose everything he cherished, whereas Mydeimos was simply punished for his very existence.

And yet, despite his best premonition, he could not stop the word from itching at the tip of his tongue, or lingering on the forefront of his mind, begging to slip past his lips whenever he took a look at that conspicuously gorgeous body, or those powerful and driven eyes.

An incessant mantra of mine, mine, mine, mine, mine.

    Summary

“HKS. Stop fucking squirming.” Mydei hisses, hand slipping uncomfortably close to Phainon’s head in an effort to hold himself up.

“My leg is cramped.” Phainon whines, pressing his back further into the stone wall. “Can’t you burst us out?”

(“I forgot about that plot point.” Caelus mutters. “Uh, okay, how about it’s super reinforced stone.”)

There may not be any stone in Amphoreus that can withstand Mydei’s fist, but luckily this is weird-limbo-Amphoreus.

“This seems to be a load bearing wall.” Mydei says in surprise, because it definitely was not a load bearing wall a few seconds ago. He pushes against the stone, and the ceiling creaks ominously.

“It sure is crazy that it mysteriously fell right behind you as you and I walked into this cramped room together then.” Phainon laughs nervously.

Alternatively: if Amphoreus is stuck in a USB drive of Caelus' writing, what's stopping him from making Phainon and Mydei speedrun fanfic tropes?

    Summary

“Hugo. You should try to make Lycaon jealous," Robin said plainly. “According to Miss Vivian’s novels, it is a 99% proven and effective strategy to confirm your partner’s feelings towards you. And if you’re lucky, your relationship could even advance to another step.”

“Robin, I told you to stop indulging yourself in Vivian’s novels. They’re not good for me.”

    “You're not denying they’re accurate.”

“Excuse me?” Hugo sighed heavily. “Also, pray tell, why are you researching your facts through fictional romance novels?”

5 times Hugo tried to make Lycaon jealous, 1 time he didn’t need to.

    Summary

One does not survive the abyss with a soft heart.

Surtalogi had drilled that into her after all, ‘Any minute spent missing home is a minute wasted —’

These fickle feelings do nothing but hinder a warrior’s growth. Yet Skirk cannot bring herself to teach Childe what Surtalogi taught her.

    Or

Skirk and the child that fell in the abyss, the child she took under her wing and the child she definitely shouldn’t have grown fond of.
