When the four of them finally get back home, Akaashi unlocks the door, holding it open for everyone. He, Kuroo, and Kenma all watch as Bokuto rushes past them, hands pressing his headphones to his ears as tightly as he can, an emotion that somehow manages to be devoid of emotion itself on his face. Though they try not to do anything that might freak him out, they quietly follow after him as fast as they can, sparing worried glances at each other. As Bokuto makes his way upstairs and down the hall, he doesn’t stop in his haste until the door to his and Kenma’s room shuts harshly.

Dr. Ratio had fallen in love with Aventurine. It was all fine until the other started to act off. Ratio would have ignored this if he hadn’t come to his office one day to see him hurled over and covered in his own blood. Aventurine knows something about this but will not say a thing and it stresses Ratio out. He works tirelessly to find out what had afflicted the man he loved.
