The feeling of being of being safe and home with people you can trust was so foreign to him it might as well not exist with half the world wanting him dead and the other half who would adore watching him being set on fire. Wich was fair; He too would love to watch himself being set on fire. Hell, he'll even do it himself.

"And the taco seasoning," Logan says, wryly, "you know, the thing we came here for."
"God, what would I do without you?" Wade sighs dreamily, turning down a new aisle, pushing the cart merrily along in front of him. Logan smiles, watching him. Mary Puppins snorts quietly, wriggles into a more comfortable position in Logan's jacket. "Pretzels," Wade sings out, swiping a bag into the cart, "and--ah, there it is!" He reaches out, leaning across the cart to the other side of the aisle for the packet of taco seasoning he sees on the shelf, but he's just a little too far away, and--
And it doesn't matter, because the envelope flies two feet into his hand.
That's--that's not a trick of the light. That wasn't a fucking optical illusion. Wade gasps, his eyes slowly swiveling from the packet of seasoning in his hand up to meet Logan's gaze.
"Logan," he says, eyes wide and solemn as he stands there in the middle of the Trader Joe's, "I think I just used the Force."

Wade sits up fully, leans forward on his knees. His voice softens. “You gotta tell me what’s going on, Logan. Please. I’m worried about you.”
A long beat passes before Logan growls low in his throat, frustrated with himself more than anything. “It’s… my mutation,” he finally grits out.
“Okay,” Wade says, careful, like Logan’s a skittish animal and not a guy who just came in his sleep grinding against Wade’s ass. “What about it?”
Logan scrubs a hand over his face. “It’s—sometimes it goes haywire. Gets… louder. The animal side of me. The instincts. Hormones.” His teeth click like the words barely squeeze past them. “For the past week it’s been… bad.”
“Bad how?” Wade prods, but softly.
Logan groans, pacing again. “Like—like every time I look at you, somethin’ in me just says that you’re mine. That I need to… breed you.” His voice drops into a gravelly rasp. “That I gotta keep you full, keep you marked, or else I’ll lose my damn mind.”
