UGH so good. Wry and grounded and mature, but still loads of fun and in character. Love Merlin's anger - how you really feel the weight of it always simmering inside him (as it should be!), and now it's boiling over because Hangover. Relatable tbh.
Incredible magic reveal, too. Harrowing and full of emotion, but not overwrought - there's no time for it! And Merlin's certainty not having any of it. Love to see it.
And the conclusion! AUGH. Love a good ambiguous, yet deeply satisfying ending, with everything still left unsaid, though definitely not unfelt. Augh.

In order to raise more money, he teams up Aizawa and Yamada on the morning shifts to fundraise. But between their difficult past and Aizawa's suppressed feelings, things get tense quickly.
Meanwhile, Shinsou meets a new kid Midoriya at school and grapples with friendship and his own musical dreams all throughout YUEI's fundraising week.
(once again, my summary feels like a bad move trailer, but I give you my word that this is a fun and interesting fic XD and as the author I personally recommend it)

He produces a pink dust that, when inhaled, makes a person fall desperately in love with whoever they see first. The feeling is so intense that the victim becomes ill and eventually dies if they cannot be near the object of their desire.”
Shōta blinks. It really doesn’t get much better the second time around.

Oboro teases Aizawa too, but between them, it’s something comfortable that Aizawa returns; somewhere along the way, despite Hizashi’s best efforts, there was a split – to Aizawa, Hizashi is the other, the background, the collateral ‘best friend’.

Oboro lives, Aizawa is unreadable, and Hizashi tries his best. It's not always good enough.note that the relationships can be read as both platonic or vaguely pre-relationship.
