“With all due respect, Boss, I can survive not seeing my boyfriend for a bit,” Lighter tells her, though the confetti of unsaid words are raining in front of him again. He adds, “And I’m not moping.”

Summary
“Normally, in this case, I’d suggest just getting a new computer.” Wise says, Lighter shakes his head. “If that’s a no-go… I could try fixing it.”
“You really mean that?” Lighter kind of resembles a puppy the way his head perks up. Wise can almost imagine little pointy ears and a wagging tail and the thought of it makes him want to laugh.
“Pft… sure.” Wise barely manages to control his laughter, barely. He can still feel the pressure of his eyelids trying not to crease. “It’s not going to be free, but luckily for you, I don’t overcharge handsome guys.”
Lighter freezes, it’s almost like he becomes a statue, a human equivalent of a blue screen.
Wise is just your perpetually sleep-deprived college student trying to get by. He doesn’t get why the handsome bad boy Lighter, who looks like he stepped out of the cover of an action movie, would be interested in a boring guy like him. It’s not like Wise has time for romance anyway, he leads a dangerous life as half of the legendary hacker Phaethon.
Lighter can’t decide if the cute guy he has a crush on is politely rebuking his advances or just incredibly dense.

Summary
To what extent can you describe love at first sight?
Wise used to think love at first sight was a fantasy - something pretty people said when they didn’t know what else to feel. That was before he met him.
The Undefeated Champion of the Outer Ring, they call him. Or maybe just Lighter – of the Sons of Calydon.
Wise doesn’t expect himself to fall in love. Not like he wants to, anyway.
But oh, who could blame Wise?
Not when Lighter’s smirk curls just right as he catches him from an ethereal’s strike, grinning like it’s no big deal that they almost got eaten.
Not when Lighter steps in quietly, voice low and firm, telling the man to back off before Wise even has the chance to blink.
Or when Lighter leans in, head resting lightly on Wise’s shoulder, breath warm and steady in the quiet flicker of the screen.
Not when Lighter stops mid-fight, knuckles bloody, just to send Wise a reply like it can’t wait another second.
And especially not when Lighter carries him through the downpour – arms trembling with the weight of more than just Wise’s body, soaked to the bone, muttering curses that sound more like fear rather than anger.
