Jisung clears his throat, takes another step back to stare at Minho, right into his eyes, changing the eye he is focusing on every single second, out of nervousness.
“Why did you leave? Why did you cut me off? I- I never cared about you being an alpha, Min. I don’t mind that it is not that common that alphas are dating, it’s not illegal anymore. I loved you and I was just waiting for both of us to finally present so I could be with you.”
Chan starts choking on his own saliva, coughing. “Alpha?”
Changbin, who is standing next to Chan, and went unnoticed by Minho until now, is patting his back to help him catch his breath. “That’s new.”

Summary
He’s not exactly struggling yet. He can see that there’s a lot Jisung wants to explore physically, and he feels like the luckiest person alive knowing he’s the one Jisung trusts with it. That Jisung opened up to him and shared things from his heart. How it all came at a time when Minho was terrifyingly close to giving up.
But just like before, he knows there’s a limit. Another boundary. Jisung isn’t doing this with the intention of building something with Minho. They aren’t dating. Jisung isn’t even looking for a relationship. And sure, maybe they’ll have fun. They’ll experiment. They’ll make each other feel good. But Jisung isn’t his.
There will come a time when all the things they do together, Jisung will do with someone else.
He buries the thought and tries to focus on sleeping. The less he thinks about it, the better. He’s good at staying composed.
Be good for your best friend. Give him everything he needs. Stop thinking so selfishly, Minho.
And don’t you dare think of it as something it isn’t.

Minho sighed. He glanced at the clock on the dryer which was currently tumble drying every towel in their house. 45 minutes left. This situation was actually ridiculous, and none of it would have happened if Jisung had had a shred of common sense, or a sense of time, or a sense of responsibility, or any type of sense, really. But alas, Jisung has other talents and skills. Which is okay most of the time. Minho is usually there as his roommate to help him out with these things.
Or: Jisung and Minho don't have any clean towels, but they both need to take a shower.
