Summary
After his intial ride falls through, Oscar asks Lando to give him a lift to his wisdom tooth removal and home again. At first he plans to just take care of himself after the procedure, but after finding out it was actual surgery, Lando insists on sticking around, just until he knows Oscar has shaken off the effects of the anesthesia. This plan falls apart however when Oscar suddenly experiences what feels like every nasty side effect known to man, and Lando finds himself out of his depth.

Don’t cause a scene don’t cause a scene don’t cause a scene don’t-
“Lan, I know he’s your teammate, but come on ” Carlos laughed, putting a hand on Lando’s arm, at which the Brit tensed up, barely stopping himself from shooting a murderous glare towards Carlos. “He needs to do better if he wants to keep that seat. Especially since now you are a race winner. I doubt Mclaren will want to keep someone who can barely perform on a good day.”
That would be it from not causing a scene.
Or,
Lando wins his first grand prix, gets into a fight with Carlos (with the help of wine aunt Nando), and realizes he may like Oscar a bit more than he initially thought. Miami was amazing.ONLY LOSELY TIED WITH THE OTHER FIC(S) IJ THIS SERIES, CAN BE READ AS A STANDALONE
