Only his survival instincts, honed after years of working for Daydream, stops Kim Dokja from reflexively denying the unknown entity's words. Her unnaturally white eyes zero in on their clasped hands. Neither of them has a death wish; it is clear what must be done.
"Thank you. We're ready to check into our room."
"Wonderful! Please step forward and I will hand you the room keys!"
They do so and two keys appear before them.
"The honeymoon suite is one of the best rooms we have! The suite is fully stocked, but please feel free to phone the front desk should you find that you need something."
Fire rushes to his face.
"T-thank you."
"Oh, you're cute! Your husband is very lucky to have you!"
An arm snakes itself around his waist as his roommate answers in a soft, gentle voice.
"I am indeed lucky to have him."
Dear god, he might actually die in this ghost story after all.
Kim Dokja grows close to his beloved Agent Yoo Joonghyuk and they get mistaken as married.
