“Zoro,” Chopper said slowly. “What’s the last thing you remember?”
Zoro screwed his face up, as if he was thinking. Sanji resisted the urge to make a crack about how much work that was for him.
“I remember going over Reverse Mountain,” he said finally. “I think we were…yeah we had just arrived on Little Garden. And you owe me Cook ‘cause I caught the biggest dinosaur you have ever seen. So I won!” he finished triumphantly.
Sanji stared at him.
*Zoro bangs his head in a minor scuffle and forgets everything that happened in the last three years, including the small detail that he and Sanji are now in love. Sanji does not cope very well.

Summary
When he sees the broad grin on the green-haired boy’s face, Sanji feels the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. Static pulses through his veins as he stares, transfixed by the bobbing of the boy’s throat as he laughs.
Would it be so bad to fall in love? Sanji often wonders, scratching idly at the raised line of scar tissue along his ribcage. It can’t always end in disaster, can it? His eyes rake the boy up and down, sizing up his trio of swords and strong body.
He could have fallen then, Sanji will think later, long after the memory has faded to abstraction and left a void of confusion in its wake. How many times would Sanji have to cut Zoro out of his lungs before his heart got the message to stop falling for him?
Or: 5 times Sanji caught hanahaki for Zoro + 1 time Zoro caught it for Sanji

Following Wano, Sanji is pretty sure Zoro has moved from being neutral towards him to hating him, something that breaks his heart considering he's been in love with him for two years now. When a future version of Zoro lands on the Sunny, things get a lot more complicated.
Or, Sanji starts a secret relationship with a future version of Zoro and present-day Zoro has a lot of feelings about it
