Can you believe we’ve got a Yankee on our team?” The rest of the group laughed. Evan flushed, shifting his weight as Diaz’s mouth folded into a bitchy little moue of distaste he didn’t even bother to hide.

He is sent to learn about the heroes as a spy inside the hero society. While much is known about heroes, there is still a lot that Tachihara will have to uncover.

He holds his card up between two slender fingers. One is decorated with a chunky silver ring, the other with a tattooed loop of barbed wire. Barty thinks he might go insane in the next thirty seconds. Fumbles embarrassingly with the card machine before finally setting it in front of him, ignoring the little smirk on his face.
He taps his card. It beeps. The receipt rolls out. Barty puts the two records in a bag and then his mouth is moving and his voice is coming out of it, which wasn’t in the plan.
“Hey, can I get your number?”
