Summary
“You killed him? You killed Donovan?” Scott doesn't sound wounded now, but the incredulity and hint of accusation in his tone hardly makes Stiles feel better. Instead it sends a spike of heat through him, a lancing heat that’s too warm for something started just now.
“Yeah, but—he was gonna kill my dad,” Stiles says. “What, was I supposed to just let him?” He recognizes that he's matching Scott’s tone now—he sounds upset and defensive, and he ought to be calming down, not working them both up more. But the heated anger is a solid presence in him now, and it probably has been for a while. The burn feels familiar, just with an intensity he isn’t used to. There’s a sizzle around the edges of it, like drops of boiling water splattering on a stove, and the building thrum of the panic that’s been in him since Donovan first grabbed hold of him.
Stiles isn’t entirely sure he stopped fighting for his life after that night. He’s not sure he isn’t clawing and kicking and screaming even now.

Summary
“Stiles,” Scott says again, in that same patient but expectant voice.
Stiles’s nerves are already too frayed for this. But he’s not going to have a fucking panic attack right now, because there’s more important shit to deal with than Stiles’s fucked emotional state. And he sure as hell isn’t breaking down in front of Scott’s beta. Stiles isn’t going to do that to him.
“Yes, okay,” Stiles replies. Somehow he manages to not sound like he’s cracking under the weight of—well, everything, so. Points for him. “We followed him out here. What do you want me to say? That I’m a stalker, huh? That I’m crazy, totally paranoid?”
He looks up at Scott now and wonders if his best friend even realizes that he’s on the brink of losing it. Does he hear the bitter self-deprecation leaking into Stiles’ tone as he calls himself crazy and paranoid? Does he get why those words sting so much?
Does Scott understand how badly Stiles needs him to just trust him for once?

Summary
Keith's just trying to make it through his senior year at the Garrison without starting any fights. He made Shiro a promise to keep his nose clean, and that's what he plans on doing. His plans start to go sideways, however, when Lance McClain, all around fuckboi and biggest creator of gossip in the school, decides he's going to sit next to him. For the rest of the year.
Lance is used to all the things people call him: slut, whore, fuckboi. You name it, and he's probably heard it. Going back to the Garrison for senior year, he wasn't expecting anything different. He'd stick with his small group of friends and make it to graduation, despite everyone expecting him to fail. But then he meets Keith Kogane, Mr. Edgelord himself, and his world seems to turn on its end.
For the first time, Lance wants to prove that he's more than his past. But how can he do that when Keith refuses to see him in a different light?
How is anyone expected to get along with someone if all they know them for is their reputation?
(5/2020 update: this work isn't abandoned, I plan to come back to it eventually, but I haven't had any inspiration for it in ages, so I'm sorry about that)

Summary
“At least we got this far,” Stiles argued. “Could’ve been worse. For now, they know he’s taken by someone in the pack.”
“Mm hm,” Lydia said, giving him a look. “You realize that you are now going to have to pretend to date Derek, right?”
Stiles rolled his eyes. “Oh no, what a hardship. That sucks, boo hoo.” He motioned Derek emphatically. “He’s like, my best friend.”
“Hey!” Scott insisted.
“He’s like, my second best friend,” Stiles amended. “It’s fine, we’ll figure it out. Right?” He turned to grin at Derek, who was scowling at him.

Summary
“Steve,” Wayne echoes. “This is my home. Eddie’s my boy.” And then he ruffles his hair with one large hand, coarse from years of working with them, in an action that reminds Steve of Hopper.
“I’m gonna go down there and get my boy back. You’re gonna be my tour guide.” He holds his hand out for the final gun Steve has stashed, which he gives over reluctantly. He finds Wayne remarkably difficult to argue with—wonders if Eddie found the same. “Tour guides don’t need guns. You point at somethin’, I shoot it. Got it, Steve?”

Summary
Ilya hears the door opening before he sees it. He sits up sharply, already angling his phone towards his chest, thumb hovering over the End Call button. Shane doesn’t speak, though Ilya watches his expression shift into something grave and concerned. They both know the routine at this point; it wouldn’t be the first time this week Ilya has ended a call abruptly to avoid interruption.
The head that appears in the doorway is far lower than he expects it to be, and it takes him a moment to fully register.
“Zhenya?” he asks, frowning. “Are you alright?”
The girl nods, her little hand still clutching the door handle. “Can I come in?”

Summary
Scott’s not really surprised to spot Ilya Rozanov backstage, getting lightly swarmed by a crowd of sound techs and hair and makeup crew. Even on the rare year that neither of them were getting any awards, the League always tried to get either him or Hollander, and preferably both, presenting something. And since Hollander was still out for the count and recovering up in Ottawa, that left Rozanov, standing awkwardly while a harried-looking woman straightened his bow-tie.
Or: Scott Hunter's not really sure what's happening right now.

Summary
Ilya looks over from the sofa as Jackie heads into the living room, perking up in interest. “You are calling Pike? Was good play today. You remembered how to score! Well done.”
Hayden groans. "Rozanov? Dude, what are you doing in my fucking house?
"It is girls' night," Ilya informs him primly. "I am one of girls."
Or: Game day at the Pike house.
