“Matt–! My hat, be careful!” Chris has straightened up now, still flushed and still hazy eyed, but he's grasping for his blue hat, since knocked to the sheets behind him. He turns back to Matt with comically upturned brows, clutching the navy cap to his chest while looking at Matt accusingly.
“What? Yeah I know, I'm the one who got you that hat.”
“You just knocked it off. I was wearing it.”
Matt huffs out a laugh, more disbelief than actual entertainment, and carries on,
“Yeah, you were. You were talking to me about this album a few minutes ago, too. But now you just told me you wanted me to-”
“Yes! Yeah, all that still stands, okay. I'm just saying,”
