Summary
Sauron did not leave Galadriel, after her dramatic jump off the cliff but he took her to Mordor. In a fit of his pride, he wants her to surrender to him and uses his blood magic to do so. Galadriel actually yields to him, but not in the way he imagined. What he didn't foresee was that her light would change him too. Imperceptibly, their souls become more and more bound to each other, and he has a chance at redemption for the first time in centuries. Will he take this chance, or will he choose darkness and evil as always when darkness reigns over Middle-earth again? Did their feeling full of pain and passion ever have a chance to survive?

Summary
“I would make you a queen, stronger than the foundations of the earth,” his words haunted her day and night for almost a year of this age. Given a secret mission that sends her into the heart of Sauron’s new kingdom, Galadriel must uncover what has been lost to the darkness, without succumbing to it herself.

“Before I pull you into my lap and ride you into my lands,” he cocked an eyebrow in twisted delight as she trembled a moment at his phrasing, “you must give me your word I am not to be deceived.”
“What do you fear I am doing?” Galadriel furrowed her brows in perfect confusion.
“You come to me seeking all I have offered you before, a place at my side, and I have had a lifetime of distraction to forget your rejection a year ago. What makes you certain I will be so willing to repeat my offer?”
Galadriel smiled softly, “Because you would never forget something you wanted that was denied you. It is not your way, Lord Sauron.”
His answering grin bared all his teeth. “Perhaps you do know me well enough, my lady,” he rumbled a laugh as he reached out his gauntleted hand towards her.
