Summary
Aki licked his lips, chapped in the cold weather. They have a warm pinkness to them after he’s done, and the colour reminded Angel of a limited cotton candy ice cream he’d gotten at one of the local vendors. It wasn’t their best flavour, it’s not a surprise it didn’t maintain its stay.
“If you were me… What would you do?”
He’s relieved that’s the question. It’s the easiest one he’s gotten all day. All week. Maybe the easiest one he’s gotten his entire life.
“That’s simple. I’d run and never look back.”

"Truce is over." Quanxi said as she cut off Chainsaw's head. but then as she went to pick up his head she noticed something that suprised her while he had several slight burns of his face and blood covering most of it, she looked into his eyes and saw that they were the same as hers as.
“What The!?” Quanxi was shocked and confused to be staring into her orange pools shown in the teenage boy’s dead eyes.
Just then a memory that she absolutely loved and cherished yet did not want to think about had appeared in her mind as she looked at Chainsaw.
"Mama thaank's syo mach!" a little boy's gentle happy voice had said as she looked at her beloved baby boys face, Quanxi smiled softly. "You are very welcome sweetie!" she leaned down to hug her son and kissed his forehead. "Love ya Mama" her son said, Quanxi smiled in response. "I love you too, baby."
Quanxi then let out a horrified gasp, dropping Chainsaw's head to the ground in the process, as she slowly realized who he really was.
"D-Denji..." Quanxi said with a look of complete and utter horror that matched her tone perfectly as she looked at her beloved little boy all grown up…with his blood on her Dao.

This is the story of a forgotten deal, strange dreams, and an organization called A.M.E.N. (Anti-Makima Empowerment Network), revolving around Angel and Aki. It begins before the events of the anime and gradually diverges from the original story, leading to a completely different ending.
It is a deep dive into the psyches of Angel and Aki filled with angst, fluff and a lot of stupid decisions.
