“Astrid,” Fishlegs began delicately. “What we’re trying to say is…Hiccup can’t say no to you.”
She scoffed. “What? Yes he can!”
“Yeah right,” said Tuffnut. “You could ask if you could push him off a cliff, and he’d say sure.”
Snotlout batted his eyelashes. “‘Gosh Astrid, whatever you want!’” He said in a mocking, nasally tone. “You want me to cut off my other leg? Anything for you, My Lady!”
“You could make him your sex slave and he’d be down,” said Ruff.
The group looked at her in horror.
“What? We were talking about ridiculous scenarios here!”
“The only reason he doesn’t say no to me, is because he knows I’m right and he simply has no reason to! That, and when we were younger, he was scared of me.”
Snotlout crossed his arms. “Prove it. Get Hiccup to say no to you about something, and I’ll admit I was wrong.”
She frowned and poked him, taking his bait. “You know what Snotlout? I’ll play your little game. I’ll go and find Hiccup right now, and get him to say no to one of my requests. He will, because they’ll be ridiculous and unreasonable.”
“I bet 5 gold coins he doesn’t deny you a single thing all day.”
“Deal!”
