Summary
“What’s her name?” Vi had asked, voice almost a whisper. And Powder, wonderful Powder, Powder who had been a mother for three hours at that point, gentle fingers, careful touch, bleeding and bruised and so, so, tired, had looked at her, breathed the name out as if it was a secret.
“Isha”, and she had smiled.
This is a modern AU, featuring CaitVi, in which Powder is Isha's mom and sadly passed away, leaving Vi to take care of her niece who has stopped speaking after the incident that took her mother's life.

Summary
It had been slow-coming, as far as apocalypses went. Not that Vi was an expert, mind you, but living through one and managing, up until that point at least, to survive, did make her at least one step above a rookie in that department. By the time they’d taken notice there had been no going back, no point in trying to reverse a process long since underway.

Summary
It was supposed to be a joke, okay? It was supposed to be funny, and they were all supposed to get a laugh out of it. Despite all of his protests, Hayden had thought he could get Shane to see the humor in it once he gave in. Except the longer Shane decidedly didn’t find it funny, the less entertaining it became for Hayden as well.
Hayden hadn’t ever actually done a deep-dive into the whole Hollanov internet obsession. He wasn’t prepared to have the cornerstone of his worldview be destroyed by a youtube compilation video.

In which Kagami suffers from Feelings™, and goes about confessing them in the most needlessly complicated way possible. Somehow, things still work out in the end though.

While Shane is away at a charity gala, the Pikes babysit an injured Ilya. Of course, Alexei decides this is a perfect time to make a reappearance.
OR
Rozanov tries to steady himself, biting off another foreign curse to pull that hockey-bred steel into his shoulders. Hayden beats him to it.
Just as an angry man bursts through the front door, Hayden shoves himself between Rozanov and the threat. Rozanov makes a sharp sound. Hayden ignores it to square his shoulders, and braces for whatever is about to come.
He isn’t Shane, and Rozanov certainly isn’t Jackie, but the equation is the same as earlier. If he’d expect his friend to stand between Jackie and danger, Hayden’s sure as hell willing to do the same.
