It took Jasper too long to come back to himself and realize that the person he was currently draining felt familiar. He pulled away to see the body of Guy Anatole in his arms, nearly bled dry, because the idiot walked into the cell of a starving vampire and released his restraints.
Guy turned up to free Jasper from captivity in Amsterdam. It doesn't go well, but they're figuring it out.

Jasper has been running a quiet New York dive-bar for two years when a certain lawyer-turned-professional-partier Guy Anatole makes it his regular haunt for decompressing after work. It isn't a place for vampires; ironically, despite the nature of the solitary old-timer working behind the bar, it isn't a place for the supernatural at all.
But one night Guy professes his unhappiness over his career, and Jasper offers him a job.
