Snarky, depressed Lena is the best Lena surprisingly. Instead of kicking her while she's down, the universe gives her a green lantern ring and best bud Hal Jordan to help her out of her funk. I love the relationship between Lena and Hal, the banter, and the creative uses of the green lantern ring's power. The action is fun, and there is a perfect balance of angst and fluff. Absolutely delightful.

Jess is a very good assistant. She is professional, punctual, and knows how to compensate for her boss' weaknesses. In the case of Miss Luthor that weakness is Kara Danvers. When it's clear her boss is never going to do anything about the situation it's up to Jess to fix it.
