Becoming the Mask: the Mole or the Con-Man takes on a fake identity in order to gain something, be it information, money, a safe place or trust. As time progresses, they love their new identity and how people treat them. Their new friends prove reliable and they are struck by the contrast. They might even fall in love with another person they are explicitly supposed to spy on or take advantage of. Either way, they want to remain in their new identity forever. More info here.

AKA: Silly Magic AU that talks about the relationship between love & magic, sengen are the main characters, also they're very flirty because I said so. This fic is very gay be warned.

I really like fake dating AUs and this one is especially astounding, and as always sengen gives me soulmate vibes from the get-go. The dynamic between them is really reminiscent of the canonical one, which fuels my love for this fic.

I cannot find the words to describe this fanfic, but it is extremely well-written and it was a delight to my soul, even through it's harsher moments. Remarkable, truly.
