Grabbing the drink and downing it in one go, Sonar's fingers became occupied with trailing the grooves in the glass. Several moments passed, before his head raised, white pupil-less eyes staring into yellow ones.
"I've spent some time thinking, Mal, and I think I need help with my addiction."

I was unhappy with how ADHOC handled Sonar's addiction issues, either brushing it aside or using it to make jokes, so I let the man actually go to NA and recover.
