It's one last chance to back out, Zagreus recognizes, a pointed "Is this really what you want" before Achilles is fully immersed in the little game they're playing.
But he wants it.
Zagreus wants it so bad -- so he stands there, smirking, eyebrows raised, goading the man standing before him that surely will become beast when tempted.
"I won't apologize, sir," he lilts, voice sing-songy, casual -- "I hardly think I've any reason to listen to you, seeing as there's not much consequence."
