    Revelations such as this one should be surprising, but in truth it is not unknown. Citizens of London have long, in fact, suspected that there might be. The dreary ambiance, dark shadows, and shriek of bats lend themselves well to superstition, and with each of these put together it might have seemed stranger to suggest that there wasn’t a vampire in the prosecutor’s office.

    Thus, in this regard, theories of supernatural suggestion are grounded in at least some form of logic. Those who place faith in this suspicion are in fact wrong in one regard, and one alone –

    The vampire is not, in fact, the prosecutor.
