Izuku Midoriya has always been good at one thing: surviving.
But after a chain of events leave him alone and quirkless in a world that eats the weak alive, Izuku reaches the point where surviving doesn’t feel worth it anymore. Katsuki had never been open with emotions, unless it was anger. He had never shown his softer side to anyone aside from his daughter, and he certainly never showed any weakness.
But this. This was brand new, unexplored territory. His parents were trying their absolute best to help him and were showing their own soft sides. Surely it was only fair that Katsuki return the favour?
He finally brought his eyes up from the carpeted floor, flicking between crimson and brown that sat before him. He took another deep breath before nodding and squeezing their hands in return.
