It’s never been proven that Boyd eats the trophies he takes. But Tim saw the look in Boyd’s eyes when he first came down into the basement. He heard Raylan say he thought he was gonna get to taste you tonight. He knows why the kitchen in this little murder cabin is fully stocked.
“Thought you used your teeth,” he murmurs, and he feels the way Boyd goes almost preternaturally still, freezing with his hand covering Tim’s. He doesn’t dare look over at the other man, keeping his own gaze fixed on where the knife is sunk into the flesh of the corpse’s thigh. Then, before he can lose the nerve, he says, “I hope you’re not holding back on my account.”
In which Boyd enjoys the taste of blood on his tongue, Raylan is indulgent to a fault, and maybe for the first time in his life, Tim doesn't mind the idea of being kept.
