Felix drank every detail of him in: the light scatter of freckles, barely visible to anyone else underneath the concealer; that sloped nose, crooked from an elder brother’s violent whims; those lightless cognac eyes. Every detail that he absolutely despised. “What, I can’t do that?”
A barking laugh forced its way out of Felix’s throat before he could stop it. “You haven’t done it in the past seven years,” he snarled.
“Maybe I thought this was the only one worth seeing,” Sylvain said.
