“Stop.”
His tone was so calm and steady that it grated the wolf’s ears.
The wolf flexed his claws, perversely pleased when one ripped a hole in the shoulder of Nick’s jacket.
“Monroe, stop.” Nick ordered in a tone that was commanding and unafraid.
The wolf didn’t stop, instead flexed its claws harder and grinned madly as the sound of fabric tearing met their ears. But then he was moving and his face met the dirt as Nick rolled them, settling his weight on the back of Monroe’s thighs and pressing one hand heavily into the sensitive spot on his low back while the other pressed firmly on the back of his neck.
“I said you’re done.” He commanded, voice low and dangerous.
