When Mira was a teenager, desperately seeking a way out from her controlling, overbearing, miserable family, she met a weird and also very famous lady. The weird, famous lady spirited her away (Mira took a cab, but whatever) to her not-at-all sketchy retreat in the mountains and told her she would become a famous Kpop idol and also a supernatural demon hunter who would defend the world from evil. Or else.
This, understandably, changed her life and her understanding of herself completely.
The other thing that did that was Rumi.

Huntrix had a connection. A special one, to put it in simple terms. The type that their fans would brag about on social media, albeit that being pretty typical in K-pop fan spaces for any group.
