Summary
Alex hated how smart Nigel was. Alex was forever top of the school, passing all classes with such smoothness it felt like feeling your hair move in the wind, staying at the top of the schools leaderboard, until Nigel Colbie came. Until Nigel Colbie handed him the stack of papers to help Alex pass his essay, he couldn't deny it, couldn't deny that there was someone smarter than him. Although his unfortunate situation, Alex always found himself being fascinated with the way Nigel controlled himself. There was something about him, Nigel wouldn't leave Alex alone, always finding him in the lunch room full of crowded students, their eyes always met. How could Alex get rid of him? get his pondering blue eyes to peel away from him just for a few minutes. Except, Alex didn't actually mind, he was only trying to convince himself he hated Nigel, how smart and unnerving he was and with the way he handled himself.
