Summary
For the past 11 months, Ash has been tasked with collecting data and statistics from Clone Force 99 to pass along to her higher up, Nala Se. The information collected will be sent to the Republic Senate, which will use the data from the enhanced clones to determine whether or not ALL Clone Troopers should be enhanced with special abilities from birth.
Being against this bill from the start, Ashes has gone forward with leaving out special details in her reports that may support this bill, as she knows how dangerous it would be to start experimenting on all clones in such a way.
In one month, Ash's assignment will be complete, and there will be no need for her to continue the analysis of the enhanced clones. Clone Force 99 has offered her a permanent position, a demotion from her current job, as a traveling medic, so she may still maintain a romantic relationship with the squad mates that she has fallen into over the past year.
Ash is unsure of this ultimatum, and wonders if it would be best for her to stay with Clone Force 99, or return home to Kamino. During her last month with the troopers, she thinks about what is important to her and her future while considering the feelings of The Bad Batch.
