Alyssa Snow is the twin sister of Jon Snow, and when King Robert Baratheon rides north after the death of Lord Jon Arryn, Eddard Stark decides to send his son to the Wall and his daughter south to Oldtown.
Follows the events of the A Song of Ice and Fire books, and at least one of Mushroom's rumors has some truth to it (Fire and Blood book).
