Summary
In a world where heat and rut leaves are constantly happening and inevitably causing urgent staffing crises, the LAFD creates a special position where certified firefighters and paramedics can be hired to pick up open shifts at stations needing short-term coverage.
Eddie has been doing the job for a while, jumping from station to station frequently, before he ever meets the 118.

Summary
It was really the perfect house.
And it was beautiful on the outside too! Buck had planted a few flowers, it was really taking shape.
But the fridge? Empty. No zoo or observatory magnets. No nothing.
So what if Christopher hated the idea of Buck living alone?
It was fine.
So fine.
Maybe it was karma for moving to Texas in the first place.
Chris visits Buck in his new home, he doesn't like what he finds, or who he finds.Bookmarked by busanduo

He knows it’s crazy. Getting so worked up over this. He knows.
It’s one of his favorite things, though, letting Buck do his thing for a while, leaning back against the bar and watching him circulate.

Summary
When they make it back to the station, Eddie expects things to go back to normal. Clearly, he imagined something, his own guilt transpiring into something edging toward an auditory hallucination. He pushes on, shedding his gear and making his way into the kitchen. He chops up the vegetables handed to him, slicing them finely, long fingers careful with the blade, well, until—
I don’t even know how to stop staring. God, his hands. Holy shit. I wonder how many of his fingers would fit in my mouth—
“Jesus Christ,” Eddie chokes, knife slipping in his hand, almost nicking his finger. He pauses, placing the knife to the side of the chopping board. “What did you—what was that?”
Buck looks up from where he’d been staring at Eddie’s hands, catching his eye. “Huh?”His eyes are beautiful, Buck says—or his voice does. Eddie watches, but there, right in front of him, Buck’s mouth is unmoving.
OR Eddie's forced to confront the situation at hand because he can't get Buck's voice out of his damn head.

Summary
"You are mine, and I don't fucking share.” Eddie's gaze pierces through him, his words carving a familiar path in his soul, touching that deep part of him that yearns to belong to someone, to be claimed.
“Am I?” Buck pushes, because he feels he has to if he's going to get his point across.
“Yes.” Eddie pushes against him further.
“Then do something about it.” Buck smirks.
