You sell flowers from your family-owned flower shop in a small booth in the park. You meet Marc, he offers to help you set up your small booth one day and you give him a rose as thanks. This goes on for a few days. You thought he'd give the roses to his significant other but you were very wrong.
""Sorry, um, can I have-" He pauses as his eyes dart towards the roses that you held in your arms. "A rose?" His face scrunches up as he says this like he didn't mean to say it but you brush it off as you were just glad the silence is finally broken and he wants to buy a rose so it's a double win for you. Though you would be lying if you said you weren't hoping he was going to ask for something else.
"Of course." You pull out one rose and hand it to him. The man grabs a few pounds from his wallet and drops it all into your hand before snatching the rose and running off in the other direction, grumbling all the way till he's out of earshot.
What a weird and yet, still very attractive man. There's a small voice in the back of your head that is hoping to see him again."
