Summary
Everyone dreams, that much is true. Some people remember them, and some people do not. Seungmin always remembers dreams.
They just aren’t his dreams.
When he goes to sleep, he will close his eyes in the real world and open them in the mind of a dead or dying stranger. He’ll spend the night with them and guide them through their last fantasies, and when the night is over, he’ll say goodbye and they’ll hopefully die unafraid.
He's never woken up in the dream of someone he knows.

“Yang Jeongin?”
The man’s eyes flew open.
“Kim Seungmin?”
This wasn’t happening. Seungmin must still be asleep and this is all a dream, that’s quite literally the only situation which Seungmin can fathom that would entail Yang Jeongin to be half naked in his kitchen.
Seungmin's roommate's new fuck buddy also happens to be Seungmin's annoyingly hot high school nemesis.

"I'm sure it hasn't been so bad."
"I guess so, when your boss isn't being a brat half the time."
Jeongin groans. Is he going to have to deal with everyone airing him out like this? "Hyung."
"I'm just saying! Now," Chan says, smiling too wide for comfort. "When is this going to turn into a rom-com?"
"Hyung!" He gasps, his heart beating so fast that he feels dizzy. He whips his head to Seungmin, apology on his lips, then pauses.
He's smiling more than he was, a shocking sight for the type of conversation that was happening. Jeongin thought he would never see that smile again. "I think we're aiming for more of a slow-burn."
Jeongin needs a new personal assistant, and his ex-husband just so happens to (re)apply for the job.

Summary
Jeongin hums lazily in response, eyes sliding shut again. He stretches, then, full-bodied, his toes curling and his arms above his head as he clenches his hands into tight fists. Little paws, Minho thinks, close to maniacal. Any other thought evaporates from his mind as he watches Jeongin arch his back the best he can with all the extra weight in the way, and Minho’s eyes immediately get stuck on the swell of his stomach. It’s become a habit. An embarrassing one. It can’t be helped, really, not when Jeongin is so beautiful. Always, but somehow like this - pregnant - he’s brighter. Livelier. Like maybe there is some cosmic force that agrees this is something he was always supposed to experience.
