Summary

As the Chosen of Myrkul falls, another chapter of her life begins - one where her dark urges are laid bare. But it is also a chapter of new possibilities, and of hope, by Halsin’s side. Halsin and that gentle, steadfast mind of his that treasures the natural life Edie longs to destroy.
Through trials and tribulations, murder and war, bloodshed and death, do they even stand a chance against the forces of the Absolute? And what of the chance of love?
This is a largely lore-compliant fanfic between a female Dark Urge elf and the druid Halsin from Baldur's Gate 3. Basically I take dialogue from the game, add some things, move some stuff around and delete others to capture the story through a different medium. Having some knowledge of the game will likely make it an easier read, because I won't be going into the adventures too much, but rather focusing on the relationships between the characters.

"I'm old." He said, glancing to her. She looked up, meeting his eyes.
"No, you're not. Grandpa's old."
"Still, I'm older than you."
"Yeah." She replied, letting her eyes sweep appreciatively over his body. Her eyes lingered on his arms, and the way they were folded. Joel didn't know what to do with that and let his arms drop to the sides of his body, dangling loosely as his fingers twitched.
"I'm too old for you."
"Agree to disagree."
"I'm fifty."
"Fifty-two, actually."
Life's been trudging on since Joel and Ellie returned to Jackson from Salt Lake. The girl's been adjusting well, but Tommy has some choice words for Joel's lack of sociability. Just start with getting a haircut, why don't you?
This is a fanfic of Joel Miller and an original female character. It takes place shortly after the end of the first game/first season, following life in Jackson, and Joel's attempt at dating.

NOTE: I have a book called "Kade" that's parallel to "Kashmir", so you can read the story from the two main characters POV separately. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but a richer experience is promised if you follow both storylines:)
New chapters come when they come! The book will be finished eventually, I just can't say when.

Summary
When turning his gaze back to meet the Archdruid’s look, he spotted something different in his expression. Something peculiar. A certain.. hunger.
His thoughts shifted to the way Halsin had unleashed his strength in battle, effectively mauling half of the goblins by himself when they broke him out of the camp. Further, he considered the way practically all of his companions respected the wood elf’s opinion, regarding him with reverence.
One last night of using his abilities would not be so torturous, Astarion thought. With one final chug, he finished the bottle of wine and began making his way over to his prey.
