Chat Noir stops moving his mouth and looks up at her with dark eyes, through his long pretty lashes. She holds his gaze, and he gives her one slow, thoughtful lick with a flat tongue. It makes her shiver with the sensation, and the new tension in the air. He says, "Are you sure you want that?"
"Yes," she breathes. "…It could be hot."
"It's just - she's somebody I know in real life?" Chat Noir says, propping himself up a little and kind of breaking the mood. "Wouldn't you feel weird?"

After keeping Chat Noir in the dark for so long and pushing him away, to the point where he had given up his miraculous, she didn’t think she’d be in his arms again. She thought she would never feel safe again until somehow found a way to get back all the miraculous from Shadowmoth. And yet…
He gave her the strength to stand up and face down the apparition of Shadowmoth that loomed over Paris. To stand tall and look determined in the face of the encouraging chants of the people below. The immense relief she felt to know that he was there with her and still believed in her gave her hope.
