Robby's eyebrows rose in surprise. "Did someone invite you to the cabin I rented?" Jack tilted his head and just looked at Robby, silent and expectant. After a long moment, Robby huffed a resigned laugh, like he wondered why he even bothered protesting. "Jack, would you like to come hiking with me?"

Robby read the first tweet silently and felt his face immediately burst into flames.
“Out loud, Dr. Robinavitch,” Gloria reminded him.
Robby cleared his throat. “Okay. Um. This one says: ‘That doctor from PTMC can intubate me any time.’” His voice cracked on the last word.
The crowd behind the camera erupted. Santos was cackling. Someone whistled. -

“Forgot something?” Robby asks, distracted as the board changes to show an incoming ambulance.
“Maybe. Thought I’d...we’d, uh...do one of those.”
“One of what?”
Jack gestures vaguely between them. “A hug. You know. A bro hug.”
Robby raises his eyebrows. “You don’t usually announce those.”
He realises after saying it that it’s usually him who initiates their occasional hugs, not Jack.
