”Uh,” Ben gasps, feeling himself pale. Nines’ shirt is undone, a big panel on his stomach open, and one of his hands is inside of it. The android hears him, raising his head to acknowledge him.
“Officer Collins, hello,” he greets calmly, gaze instantly returning to the panel.
”You have your hand in-your-guts,” Ben blurts, aghast.

Summary
He watches Connor with fondness as the android’s eyes move beneath his eyelids. Another effect of the upgrade - it kind of freaked him out as first, androids having REM sleep - he wonders what he’s dreaming about.
This is what, the third time he’s fallen asleep at work? Or, sorry, ‘gone into stasis.’ He’s adamant at correcting him with that one. Most androids going into stasis just sit there all creepily. This shit? Snoring, talking in his sleep, dreaming - that’s sleeping. Hank will fight him on that.
