Summary
Dazai stands at the edge of the rooftop.
“...There something I regret, Odasaku. I’ll never get to read your novel!”
The black-clad figure disappears beyond the rooftop’s edge. A few seconds later, a dull crack echoes — bones smashing into asphalt.
***
Dazai opens his eyes and sees a bright light.
He survived? How? From that height?
“It’s a healthy boy.” A male voice said.
The woman with warm brown eyes smiled softly. “I’ll name you Osamu. Dazai Osamu.”
What!? No. No. NO. NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

Summary
Chuuya has no memories from when he was a child.
So when Kouyou entrusts a de-aged Chuuya (who only has his childhood memories that reflect his body's age) to the Armed Detective Agency, and most importantly Dazai's, care, Dazai considers a prime opportunity to find out what Chuuya's life was like. If only to tease him about it later!
Yet he wasn't quite prepared for the revelations about Chuuya's past that he would find... nor what it means for his understanding of Chuuya.
(Plus, he has to resist pinching those Chibi cheeks lest he accidentally creates a singularity. It's not fair!)

Summary
Small Chuuya getting the comfort and childhood he deserves because that boy fucking needs it, and Dazai caring for him because he’s not an asshole in this. They’re also both still in the mafia in the beginning, just to give a rough timeline.
Works are only loosely connected, with no real plot.

Summary
Well, but it's Dazai. A traitor who left him behind, yes, but also the same boy, man, who had always been by his side for most parts of his life. It isn't hard, it's easy even (even if it hurts) to fall back into the same old patterns of banter and then some. It's almost as if nothing has changed, almost as if four years don't stand between them. At least, until Chuuya discovers that leaving him behind wasn't the worst thing Dazai did to him.

Summary
Panic starts to creep up his spine. Suddenly, there are hands crawling all over his skin, picking and prodding. No. Everything already hurts so much. He doesn’t want that needle near him. Backing away as far as he can, he grips the sink and weakly kicks his legs. “No, no, don’ wanna,” he whimpers, shaking his head.
Dazai rubs his thumb over Chuuya’s wrist soothingly. “I’m sorry, but we have to. We can’t just let it keep bleeding.” He replies, gently but decisive.
“No, no, stop, pl- pl’se. Stop now?” At this point, he’s almost begging. Rationally, he knows he’s just being a baby, they have to treat an injury like this, but the fear is closing up his lungs and kind of ruining a rational mind’s efforts.

5 times little Chuuya has kind of a bad time, +1 time he doesn’t.Series
