Summary
Life hasn't been what she expected, then again Clarke's life has never been hers. The life of the Maiden is one of near complete isolation. Her duty is to her Kingdom, and everything relies on her ability to be found worthy of gods who have set impossible standards. A duty that, for everyday she spends with her new guard, she is surer than ever she doesn't want.
He has spent a lifetime of agony regretting the choices he has made but now is his chance to right the wrongs and turn the tides in his favor. Two duties. One to her Kingdom, one to his own, and what should've been a simple plan, years in the making, falls apart after one night with her. Bellamy has always been hellbent on carving his own path, now it seems, try as he may, a certain blonde "princess" might be doing the carving.

But that kind of planning never works, so instead of making out with Finn against some wall at the party, Clarke’s walking with hurried steps towards her best friend’s truck, dressed as the “cool” version of Sandy Olsson.

“Be clear, Miss Griffin. What, exactly, are you saying?” He demands, his voice thick and graveled.
Clarke considers her words carefully. He could easily use this against her. Does she really want to tack another charge onto the ones she’s already got stacked against her? She smirks, because what more can they possibly sentence her with? She already knows she’s going to be floated at 18. They’re not going to let her live, not when she knows that the ark is on its last legs. She has literally nothing to lose.
She slides her hand back up his chest, teasing at the buckles of his uniform. “I’m saying, I’ll do anything…” She curls her fingers along the collar of the jacket, and assures him with a sultry smile, “You can do whatever you want to me…”
“You know that bribery is against the law, Princess.” He says, with a hint of intrigue. His voice is a rough sound she can practically feel rumbling through her core.
She cocks an eyebrow, “What are they going to do? Float me twice?”
