“What is that, by the way?” He gestures at Jumpy Dumpty in Klee’s hands.
“I made it!” Klee says happily, holding it up in two hands up in the air for Al-Haitham to take a closer look. Then she takes it back close to her chest and swings it around. “It’s looooots of fun, and it keeps me company in solitary confinement, and it protects me from all the ugly monsters out in the woods.”
“Solitary confinement?”
“That’s only because of the fish,” Klee says flippantly. “Among other things. Anyway. It’s one of my best friends!”
“And it protects you how?” Al-Haitham says carefully.
“Oh.” Klee blinks. “It’s a bomb.”
Al-Haitham stands up suddenly. “Let’s go find your gege, okay?”
In her search for Kaeya, Klee unwittingly becomes the catalyst for Al-Haitham and Kaveh's relationship. According to her, love is much simpler than they give it credit for.
