Summary
Two kingdoms marry off their royal princes for long-term union and peace.
The only issue?
The Alpha Prince is actually an Omega and the Omega Prince is actually an Alpha.
Neither of them know the truth. -

It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.
It was supposed to be planned around his schedule- aligned with winter break, maybe. Or even after he’d retired. He should’ve been with his partner, whoever they were; he’d never dared hope it would be Max. He should’ve been wrapped in their embrace, murmuring hushed words of excitement to one another as they waited for the minutes to pass and a result to show on the test.
They should’ve found out together. Ready. Eager. Full of love.
Instead it was like this: alone, curled on a cold bathroom floor, a painfully impersonal PDF staring at Charles from his phone. The only positivity to be found in the situation was sitting in the results column of the file, neatly slotted next to the word pregnancy.
The email. The result. The loneliness. It was all too much. Charles began to cry once again.
At the top of his screen, a response popped up with impeccable timing.
i told you not to text me.
Alternatively:
Charles is in love with Max. Max is in love with Charles. It really is that complicated, and then it gets worse.
Meanwhile, Lando just wants Oscar to kiss him, and he's not quite sure how to make that happen. -

There’s a lot more commotion today for some reason, Max doesn’t know why everyone is crowding up the walking space but he makes do with a few mutters of ‘excuse me’ and ‘let me through’. It is lively and he should expect that as usual for the Monaco Grand Prix but this level of intensity makes him wonder if there’s some major hot shot celebrity or something.
After some time of clueless navigation, he makes it around to the other drivers, everyone seems to be huddled around for some kind of briefing.
“Mate, what is going on?” He groans under his breath, Gabriel Bortoletto sends him a smirk, leaning closer to his ear “They’re bringing back grid girls.”
The Dutchman raises a brow; that decision to remove girl girls was made many years ago and there’s nothing in the current time that would suggest they include it back in. Thinking about it, wasn’t the whole action made because they wanted to modernize the sport and something about aligning with values or such?
“Why now?”
“I don’t know. I think it’s just for Monaco… and get this… there’s grid boys too.”

Summary
Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen are at the top of their games, known across the world and winners in their own rights. But that doesn't mean that either of them is satisfied with where their lives have brought them.
What's the point in all of this success if you have no one else to share it with?
OR: Max is a driver and Charles is an actor and their lives have always been intertwined.
