Summary
Weariness dripping from his face, Bruce entered the watchtower and pried his cowl off. He had stood up late the night before, working away on a case that was neither imminent nor complicated. He simply needed an escape from the thoughts that swallowed him whole, and he broke free from them via occupying said thoughts with casework. However, that liberation was superficial; after he was done, they all came back to him vehemently.
