Summary
Project Loch Ness is the original Gen 1. The RDA had seven bodies to practice the Soul Drive transfers on and all but one basically failed. The rejected Recombinants were cast off from Bridgehead to make way for Project Phoenix where they made their escape from the RDA and began their new lives in bodies that were more familiar than their old ones.
Lt. Colonel Hunter "Huntsman" Jacobi is the second-in-command of Project Loch Ness, standing ever so faithfully beside their Colonel. They don't remember much from their human life and they don't really want too. They are perfectly content to live alongside their found family and make a home for themselves on Pandora when it's all flipped upside down because of a washed up Recombinant.

Summary
From the moment she met her, Rilla has followed Aloy and taken care of her best she could. She followed Aloy throughout the disaster that HADES and the Eclipse tried to set upon the world and followed her again when the Nora Seeker left after the final battle. Aloy is determined to have the whole world on her shoulders and Rilla is there to remind her that friends share each other's burdens.
Now she's joined Aloy in the Forbidden West where a new part of the world is at her fingertips. They gain more allies along the way (and some more than friends), and Rilla is ready to face this new otherworldly danger that once again threatens their home.

Summary
Project Loch Ness is the precursor to Project Phoenix - the original Gen 1. It's composed of a squadron of seven Recombinants who were deemed Soul Drive failures and who were thrown away when Project Phoenix was given the all-clear to land on Pandora. Their paths eventually cross.

Summary
Flambae's father, Faizan, wakes up in his past body. While some people would think having to relive years of their life would be a terrible fate, Faizan finds opportunity instead. He can protect his son, for one, and keep him from going to prison. He can also find his future son-in-law, Robert, and help set him on a better path. And, well, if he's going to help those two, he needs to get their respective best friends, Prism and Coupé, too. He might as well get Waterboy and Punch Up at that point, and then he can't just not get the rest of the team. He wants all his children to be happy, after all. What father wouldn't?
